About this session:
Join Registered Clinical Counsellor and former UBC researcher, Jan Klimas for a unique mindfulness session to help ease the struggles that most of us face during life. Whether you are struggling to live a meaningful and fulfilling life, finding yourself avoiding painful emotions, feeling overtaken by your emotions, or you are just feeling overwhelmed by the busyness of life and struggle to make time for what really matters to you – this session is for you.
Sharing perspectives and experiences from a wide range of several traditions from around the world, Jan’s sessions help people increase their capacity to face life’s challenges, overcome difficult experiences, make choices that align with personal values, and create a rich, meaningful and authentic life.
This session involves a counsellor-led mindfulness session of 20-25 minutes long (require active participation), and a group discussion (or chat) to follow.
