Attend this information session to learn more about becoming an ambassador for Not Myself Today (NMT). NMT is an evidence-informed, practical solution to help employers like UBC transform mental health at work. NMT includes modules, programs, toolkits, and videos you can integrate into your department.
Attend this session to find out more including:
- Some statistics that define why mental health is important
- Introduce the concept of the Not Myself Today® program
- Introduce the different roles within NMT with a focus on Ambassadors
- Talk about the different learning modules
- Take a tour of the digital portal
Heather is a member of the Workplace Mental Health Team at the Canadian Mental Health Associations National office. She has a passion for workplace mental health and has been involved with the Not Myself Today® program since 2014. She is committed to helping organizations transform their workplace cultures to be more open and supportive of mental health challenges in the workplace, and brings a practical “best practices” approach to employee wellness and creating a more open and supportive workplace culture. Prior to her current focus in mental health, Heather has worked for large multi-national organizations in the areas of business solutions and telecommunications. She views her role with CMHA as being the most important and meaningful work she has ever done.
