Attend this information session to learn about how to get started as an ambassador for Not Myself Today (NMT) or if you haven't signed up yet as an ambassador, attend to learn more about what is involved. NMT is an evidence-informed, practical solution to help employers like UBC transform mental health at work. NMT includes modules, programs, toolkits, and videos you can integrate into your department.
Crystal Hutchinson, MEd, CHES, is a Workplace Wellbeing Practices and Learning Consultant within Central HR. In her role, Crystal partners with campus stakeholders to shift systems, processes, practices and cultures in order to support wellbeing in workplaces. Crystal gratefully brings forward the knowledge, skills and expertise that she has gained over the 13 years she has worked and learned in the areas of health education and health promotion. She was directly involved in the development of the 2015 Okanagan Charter: An International Charter for Health Promoting Universities and Colleges. Crystal is currently both curious and passionate about self-compassion, psychologically safe leadership and social innovation.
Amanda Swoboda is a Wellbeing Specialist with the Workplace Health and Wellbeing team at UBC Okanagan. Her work involves coordinating events, campaigns, delivering mental health training, and consulting with leaders and team to support psychological health and safety in the workplace. Amanda is passionate about empowering individual wellness and safe and supportive workplace culture.
