Course information:

Dates: March 2, March 9, March 16, March 23.

Attendance: Sessions can be attended as single sessions or as a series.

Time: 12:15 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Location: Zoom


Attend this four part mindfulness series which will include:

Session 1: Meditation for deeper awareness 
+ This would be for the mind-body and nervous system and a great intro meditation for anyone who has challenges sitting still in traditional meditation styles

Session 2: Meditation for focus and mental clarity
+ this would be focused on the mind

Session 3: Meditation and our emotions: how meditating can help us process and relate to our feeling
+ this is an experiential meditation that uses the body to demonstrate how meditation translates to real-life practice. 

Session 4: Meditation + breathwork for relaxation and calm 
+ this would be for nervous system regulation specifically and incorporate specific breathing patterns.

Melissa Nkomo is a mindfulness practitioner and founder of Kunye ( Melissa marries the best of ancient wisdom with contemporary science to bring the power of breath, consciousness, and embodiment to individuals and organizations across Canada. Melissa is a lululemon ambassador, a role she uses to champion more inclusive representations of wellness and access for marginalized and under-represented individuals in Vancouver.
