Change is a natural part of life. While some changes can affect the very structure of your life, other changes can have subtle impacts on your day-to-day activities. This seminar will help you understand the emotional reactions you may experience when confronted with change, taking into account your own personality and strengths, to provide you with the coping skills needed to manage change more effectively.
At the end of this seminar, participants will be able to do the following:
- Understand the four different types of change
- Develop strategies for managing change effectively
- View change in a more positive manner
Susan Phelan (she/her) is an Organization Development consultant, trainer, facilitator and coach. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Queen's University and her Masters of Arts in Applied Behavioral Sciences from City University in Seattle, Washington. Her postgraduate professional development includes training seminars and certifications in the areas of interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, managing change and transition, personal styles, and mental health in the workplace.
Throughout her career, Susan has designed and facilitated numerous training programs that include her specialties, as well as seminars on emotional, mental and physical health, dealing with difficult behaviors, diversity and multiculturalism, conflict resolution, and performance management.
