Audience: New and current faculty and staff at UBC Vancouver and Okanagan who are looking to learn more about the benefits plan offered at UBC. 

Date: Thursday, November 7, 2024

Time: 10:30 am–12:00 pm PST

Location: Zoom Webinar. (Once you’ve registered, you will be directed to the course Canvas page where you can find the Zoom link and download the calendar invite.)

UBC’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provider will be GreenShield as of November 1, 2024. Join this session to learn about UBC’s new EFAP provider including program accessibility, services available and a live demonstration of the GreenShield+ platform! This session will also include a high-level overview of your benefits coverage and also highlight year-end reminders and tips to get the most out of your benefits.

What will you learn?

  • Which benefits you are eligible for
  • A brief overview of what your benefits cover and where to find more information
  • How to make claims using your benefits 
  • Year-end reminders and tips to fully utilize your coverage
  • Introduction to the new EFAP provider, GreenShield, including a live demo of their online platform
  • Who to contact if you have questions
