About this webinar:

Join us for this webinar to learn more about the importance of good cardiovascular health and ways you can identify and modify common risk factors.

Cardiovascular disease is a term used to describe a variety of conditions that affect the heart and blood vessels. Over time, this chronic disease can lead to serious health events such as heart attacks or strokes. The good news is that most cardiovascular diseases can be prevented by addressing behavioral risk factors such as maintaining a healthy diet, ensuring regular physical activity and minimizing the use of tobacco and alcohol. The effects of these risk factors may show up in individuals as raised blood pressure, blood sugar or cholesterol levels.

This webinar is part of the Travelling Health Fair, an annual free mobile health clinic offering one-on-one health assessments.
