About this session:
Join Registered Clinical Counsellor and former UBC researcher, Jan Klimas, PhD, for a community mindfulness session to practice moment-to-moment awareness. This summer series offers a space to continue or renew your mindfulness practice through guided meditation.
This session involves a counsellor-led mindfulness meditation of 20-25 minutes long. We will practice attentional focused meditation, body scan, and compassionate friendliness practice.

- Monday, June 16
You can choose to attend as many or as little sessions as you would like.
Time: 12:00–12:30 pm PST
About your facilitator:
Dr. Jan Klimas (he/him), PhD, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, certified mindfulness teacher, and former researcher at UBC. His work is grounded in motivational, mindfulness and acceptance-based approaches. He also specializes in the prolonged exposure therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) at the West Coast Resiliency Centre.
