Description:
Accessible Interviewing & Accommodations is a resource for hiring managers and others involved in recruitment who want to learn more about accessibility and accommodations during the interview process. This course provides guidance on making interviews more accessible and inclusive, creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where all job candidates can showcase their strengths and skills. It is best suited for staff interviews, but also provides insights that may be valuable for faculty hiring.
At the end of this 45-minute self-paced course, you will:
- Refine your interview practices to create a welcoming and inclusive experience for all job candidates
- Review some examples of accommodations that may be needed during the interview process
- Know where to go for additional support, learning, and resources
- Increase your confidence responding to interview accommodation requests
