Full course description

Supporting student learning and well-being is central to UBC’s mission. The Early Assist (EA) program provides faculty, staff, and TAs with a clear process for identifying and responding to students who may be at risk academically or personally.

In this interactive online course, you’ll learn how to recognize signs of concern, submit an EA report, and engage in supportive conversations. By practicing these skills, you’ll strengthen your confidence in connecting students with timely resources and contribute to a caring, connected campus community.
