Full course description
The Naloxone Awareness course at UBCO is designed to equip Campus Security staff with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to an opioid overdose. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of overdose, understand the role of naloxone, and practice safe administration techniques. The training emphasizes that naloxone is safe, easy to use, and can save lives without causing harm, even if opioids are not present. By taking part, the UBCO community strengthens its ability to support one another and promote a safer campus environment.
