Respect in the Workplace: Skills and Strategies:

Who is this for: This workshop is open to all UBCO Faculty & Staff

Common challenges of teamwork are discussed including disrespect, bullying, harassment, miscommunication and stress. Drawing on current employment standards and human rights legislation, participants learn expectations of professional conduct at work and how to overcome teamwork challenges like bullying to ensure a harmonious work environment. Participants leave motivated to use the practical skills and strategies to ensure workplace respect. 

Please note that as we have enlisted the expertise of an external facilitator Shelly Mclaughlin of The Neutral Zone there will be a nominal fee of $75 per attendee. We strongly encourage all employees to utilize their professional development fund to cover this cost.
