Date: A session will be offered in February, June, and October.

Additional sessions may be offered if there is enough demand. On-site training is also possible if your site has at least 8 people to attend. Contact for further information.

Delivery: In person on Point Grey Campus


This course equips the participant to ship or receive infectious substances associated with bio-medical, research, or animal units.  Participants will learn to properly label, document and package dangerous goods for road or air transport.  Emphasis is placed on the handling of diagnostic specimens, biological products, genetically modified organisms, and dry ice.


This 3.5-hour course is delivered entirely in-person on Point Grey Campus.
