Glyn Jones is a Partner at EHS Partnerships Ltd and has over 35 years of experience consulting occupational health and safety professional and leadership coach.  Glyn is a chemical engineer by training and is a Professional Engineer.  He completed a Masters degree specializing in occupational health and safety.  He holds numerous professional certificatioons and is a CIH and a CRSP.

DESCRIPTION:

This session is a recording of a live webinar held July 2021.  Safe work doesn't require common sense.  Safe work requires mindful employees who are competent and able to identify and control predictable workplace hazards and use their authority to take prompt corrective measures to control them. In this session, we will discuss common sense, mindfulness, and mindlessness, as they are related to workplace safety and get a better insight into how to design work to ensure a safe outcome.
