DESCRIPTION:
It’s hard to see others -- let alone have a conversation! – when stumbling in the opposing trenches of some difficult conversations. During this session, we will discuss research-informed practices to help turn difficult conversations into opportunities for the construction of mutual understanding.
INSTRUCTOR:
Roquela Fernandez is the Program Manager for the Conflict Theatre Program.
Prof. Tom Scholte is a Professor in the Department of Theatre and Film as well as Faculty Lead of Conflict Theatre @ UBC. His research and practice in the realm of conflict involves the application of systems theory to modes of experiential learning based in the Theatre of the Oppressed.
