DESCRIPTION:
The second course in a series of four learning modules focuses on UBC's new performance enablement process, GPS: Goals. Performance. Success. This course highlights the role of the Goal Setting phase in the GPS Program and explores the fundamental principles of setting goals for personal and team success at UBC.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
The course is self-directed and virtual, including an audio version for an enhanced learning experience. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participants must view all pages of the course to achieve completion.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Recognize the role of goal setting on individual and organizational performance.
2. Describe different types of goals.
3. Explain the principles of effective goals in UBC's performance enablement process.
4. Describe the steps involved in recording goals within the Workday platform.
